BILLING CHANGES
We are a mixed billing practice and accounts are required to be paid in full following any consultations. Payment of your account can be made by cash, credit card or EFTPOS.
The Medicare rebate will be deposited into your nominated bank account within 48 hours.
Bulk billing will continue for Aged and Disability Pensioners, Children under 16 years and GOLD DVA card holders.
Concession card holders must present a valid card for concession billing purposes. Please bring your card with you to each appointment.
If you have no Medicare card, you will be charged the same fees as private patients below. You will need to take your receipt to your health fund and they will reimburse the Medicare portion.
Standard appointments take 10 to 12 minutes, allowing a few minutes for the doctor to complete notes. These cover a single or an uncomplicated matter.
Long appointments are required for more complex problems or if you have several matters to discuss. It includes pap smears, mental health, antenatal care, etc.
A non-attendance fee of $30.00 will apply if you do not provide 2 hours’ notice of your cancellation.

AFTER HOURS URGENCY CARE
During the night, weekends and public holidays, National Home Doctor Service is on duty for urgent problems. Home visits can be arranged by phoning 13 74 25 for the locum service. A record of every visit made by locum doctors is sent to your own doctor and entered into your clinical file.
