Dr Carter has enjoyed working at Marden Medical Clinic for over 25 years.
She graduated from the University of Adelaide and worked in Darwin and Katherine before returning to work in Adelaide.

She enjoys the wide variety of general practice and family medicine.  It is a privilege to hear the stories of people of all ages, and backgrounds.

She values the role of Gp’s in promoting health and preventing disease. Dr Carter is interested in all aspects of family medicine, including the management of chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease.

She is able to provide Antenatal Shared care. She is available  to insert and remove Implanon.

In her spare time Dr Carter enjoys the opportunity to head to the Yorke Peninsula and watch the sunrise over the sea.

Dr Noman Tahir aims to provide person-centered, continuing, comprehensive and coordinated whole person health care to individuals and families in their communities. I want to continue providing holistic patient care including but not limited to patient consultations at home and within the surgery, physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses/ailments, minor surgery including skin cancer treatment, health education, practice management and administration, liaising with other healthcare professionals and/or hospitals. I want to continue providing care to all members of family. I have special interest in occupational health, dermatology, paediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, chronic care medicine, emergency medicine and preventative medicine.

Dr Jayath Vidanage is originally from Sri Lanka. Whilst there he was awarded a scholarship which enabled him to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at Comenius University in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in 1991. He migrated to Australia with his family in 1994 and has been working in the Australian health system since February 1996.

He has previously worked in both public and private hospitals in Australia and has spent time as a Registrar in Psychiatry and as a Registrar in Rehabilitation Medicine at various health facilities throughout the country. His interest in General Practice began in 2001 and he has been working exclusively in this field of General Practice since 2008.

He obtained his FRACGP in 2010. He has a special interest in the fields of pain management, rehabilitation and mental health.
His hobbies include cricket, music and supporting the Crows. In addition to English, he also speaks Singhalese, Slovak, Czech and Polish.

Dr Shah trained as a GP in the UK, moving to Australia in 2013. He enjoyed the variety and challenge of work as a GP in rural SA (Port Pirie) for 7 years, with hospital and aged care work as well.

Dr Shah has been working in suburban Adelaide as a GP for the past few years, and also continues his work in Residential Aged Care. He has an interest in skin, doing both skin checks and minor surgery, children’s vaccinations, chronic disease management, mental health care plans and work fitness assessments.

He is happy to see patients with new worker’s compensation claims. Dr Shah has 2 school aged children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing badminton.

Samir graduated in 2005 and completed his Master’s degree in Orthopaedics, Sports & Manual Physiotherapy from University of South Australia (UniSA). Has more than 16 year of experience working in Australia.

He has also developed a passion for dry needling & biomechanical corrections exercises.
Samir is trained in Level 1 and Level 2 Dry Needling (western acupuncture), done his training locally as well as internationally ( Singapore) and specialise in Dermo neuro modulation ( Pain science and inhibition technique)
A passion for the complete rehabilitation of the individual has helped Samir develop strong professional relationships with a number of General practitioners, Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical specialists in Adelaide.

Matt Evans graduated with his Bachelor of Podiatry from Uni SA in 2013. Since then he has enjoyed building his business, Sole Podiatry.

As a Podiatrist, Matt has an interest in the areas of clinical biomechanics, orthotic therapy, general foot care, toe nail surgery and paediatrics and regularly attends professional development events.

Matt is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and Sports Medicine Australia and has experience in using manual therapy techniques such as dry needling, soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, muscle testing and strengthening as part of a holistic approach to Podiatry treatment.

Outside of work Matt is a keen sportsman having experience playing football, tennis and soccer for many years. He currently enjoys soccer and golf.
